The Journey That Sparked Ana Mamnoona
Ana Mamnoona was born from a life-changing trip I took in 2023. During my time in Morocco, I discovered the rich tradition of cultivating Argan oil, pressed from the nuts of the ancient and resilient Argan tree. For more than 600 years, local women have carefully prepared this oil, making it an essential part of their timeless self-care rituals. Often called Morocco’s “Liquid Gold,” it nourishes and protects with remarkable power. What began as a personal discovery soon grew into a mission to share this tradition of beauty, gratitude, and care with others.
Finding Home in Unexpected Places
I feel fortunate to have grown up as a “third culture” kid in a hardworking, entrepreneurial family. Having experienced a broad worldview first-hand, I value diverse perspectives and cultural experiences. When travelling through southwest Morocco, I found myself welcomed by the Amazigh community, people with incredible warmth and generosity. I felt an unexpected sense of home in this culture, so deeply rooted in family, faith, and community. Inspired, I envisioned a business which honored Morocco and reflected the values which had been instilled in me: integrity, resilience, and generosity.

Redefining Self-Care
The name Mamnoona (ممنونة) means grateful in feminine form - a tribute to both the spirit of gratitude and the women behind the magic of Argan oil. I created Ana Mamnoona to evolve and redefine "self-care". Each bottle combines the oil of the Argan tree seeds with fine scents, sourced from around the world. The resulting serum is both a luxurity and an act of intention. That is because every bottle of Ana Mamnoona reflects what we value:

Water well
Giving Back: Water is Life
Water is the best form of charity. Each Ana Mamnoona purchase helps fund clean drinking water initiatives in vulnerable communities. So far, we have helped provide over 200,000 gallons of clean water benefiting more than 75 families, providing them safe, clean water for drinking, washing and cooking. We partner with nonprofit organizations to build wells, expand access to safe water, and support sustainable change. Service to others is self-care at its finest, and holds majesty and beauty - where the giving itself is multiplying without being seen.
